Nia (previously Non-Impact Aerobics, then Neuromuscular Integrative Action) is a holistic fitness and lifestyle practice that allows all of you – your inner child, guru, athlete, seeker, artist, warrior and dancer – to expressively emerge! Created by Debbie Rosas Stewart and Carlos AyaRosas over 25 years ago, the Nia Technique combines three Dance Arts (Jazz, Modern, and Duncan), three Martial Arts (Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, and Aikido), and three Healing Arts (the work of Moshe Feldenkrais, the Alexander Technique, and Yoga) to create a dynamic class that is integrative, invigorating and inspirational!
